Subsea Field Explorer
An underwater Three.js explorer with terrain layers, hotspots, navigation controls, and depth atmosphere.
A web-based 3D subsea visualization for exploring terrain, pipelines, and spatial points of interest.
The build includes a flying camera, hotspots, distance-scaling markers, navigation UI, fog, depth styling, GLTF loading, and DRACO support.
Role: Real-Time Visualization, Spatial Interface, 3D Environment
Stack: Vite, Three.js, GLTF, DRACO, Interactive Camera, Hotspot UI
Technical spatial data is made readable through atmosphere.
Terrain, depth treatment, and route-like visual cues make the field easier to scan while keeping the underwater scene legible.
Light and motion cues keep the submerged world readable.
The concept favors smooth camera rhythm, restrained motion, and visual anchors so the cinematic mood does not make the space harder to understand.
The prototype was built as a practical field viewer.
Environment, hotspot, camera, and renderer modules work together so users can move through the field while markers remain readable at different distances.
