VariState SPACE — Lounge
Interior Materials Study - 2026
A quieter SPACE experience built around one furnished lounge. Two chairs, a round table, an arc lamp, and a lake outside give material choices a consistent setting.
The lounge focuses on finishes and atmosphere, with orbit and walk modes for exploring the room. The latest gallery shows alternate wall, floor, table, and rug combinations in the same space.

Change one thing and read the whole room.
Eight finish groups cover the room surfaces and furnishings. Changing the floor, wall, or tabletop matters because of the surfaces next to it, so the comparison happens in the room itself.
The furniture arrangement supplies a stable reference. It is not presented as a catalogue where every object can be freely moved or replaced.

Cooler finishes tell a different story.
Grey-toned flooring, a dark tabletop, and a pale green rug make the same seating feel different. The room and viewpoint give the visitor a basis for comparing those changes.
The authored lighting bake is preserved as finishes change. The scene does not claim to recompute every indirect bounce of light from the new material.

Keep the room. Change the light.
Evening shifts attention from the broad window light to the arc lamp and the surfaces around it. Keeping the material selection makes the change of atmosphere a useful comparison.

Upholstery needs more than a wide shot.
An orbit view explains the arrangement. Getting close makes the fabric, tabletop, curved seating, and small props readable. Walking and photo controls support that closer look.

A silent recording shows the material controls, the room in evening and daylight, and camera exploration. The film loads when you press Play.
